Ubisoft has created a map and textured pack for Minecraft on PC inspired by the Far Cry 3 universe. You'll be able to download it for free from October 26th, 2012.
But it's not just a bunch of skins, Ubisoft promises, with the download said to warp everything through the lens of its upcoming shooter, including changes to environments, weapon and tools. Key environments from Far Cry 3 have also been recreated in Minecraft, allowing you to acquaint yourself with your surroundings before the game comes out at the end of the year. You'll even encounter characters, too, such as Vaas and Jason.
Who's done the modding? Well, Ubisoft recruited Michael Lambert (aka Sacr3), a well-known Minecraft enthusiast, to do the work, along with artists Axel Janssen and Yohann Delcourt who tackled the textures.
