Parks and Rec: "William Henry Harrison" Review IGN All

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...


This is a review of the first Parks and Rec episode of the night, "William Henry Harrison." If you're looking for a review of the second episode, "Ron and Leslie," it will be up at a later time.


I don't know if EP Mike Schur and the rest of the Parks writing team somehow knew NBC would be cramming two Parks episodes together every week for a few months in order to rush through the final season, but tonight's two installments actually comprised a legit two-parter. With a "To Be Continued" stuck in the middle an everything.


This is just a review of the first half though. The whole William Henry Harrison bit, mixed with Bloosh, mixed with Ben's notary nightmare, mixed with April trying to figure out things she didn't hate. And it was good. Not peak Parks, but funny. Of course, a big part of it feeling lighter comes from the fact that it was leading up to something big that ultimately didn't go down until the second half.
