The absolute best thing about the Regular Show - The Best DVD in the World* (*At this Moment in Time) is that it contains 16 11-minute episodes of Cartoon Network's absurdo-genius, '80s-obsessed Regular Show.
As we saw with with the series' previous DVD offering, Regular Show: Slack Pack, the decision has been made to bundle up this show into random episodes, not seasons, with Slack Pack featuring picks from Seasons 1 and 2 and The Best DVD in the World being 99% Season 3. Regardless of the fact that these episodes are churned out fast and that no one truly has a clear notion of when seasons on a series like this begin and end, I can't think of a single fan who wouldn't want this show to offer full seasons on DVD. Because even if you can't readily place a particular episode in time, you'd still want to have ALL the episodes. And this method of selecting only about 20% of a season just isn't something that most DVD buyers are looking for. And so, as it turns out, one of my favorite episodes, Season 2's "Temp Check," isn't even on either disc.
