Sony’s love affair with independent developers has, in recent years, made the PlayStation Network the newest destination for great games made by smaller teams that don’t have the means, the funding, or the tools that many triple-A developers have.
One of the great champions of Sony in the last year is Brian Provinciano, the lone developer of Retro City Rampage. He once referred to Microsoft’s ”intimidating corporate vibe” and talked to us extensively about why he prefers developing for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
