Gone Home, IGN’s Best PC Game of 2013, is coming to consoles in 2014.
“We designed Gone Home from the beginning to be a couch experience,” Steve Gaynor, cofounder of developer The Fullbright Company and writer of Gone Home, told IGN. “There are Trophies and there
Achievements, but there’s also new features with the new consoles. The PS4 is all about sharing, for instance.”
The Fullbright Company is sill deciding which platform, in particular, Gone Home will come to. “It’s less about what we can add, what we can change,” said Gaynor. “It’s, ‘How can we make it the best version you could possibly play on the hardware you’ve got on your living room?’”
Partnering with publisher Midnight City, Gaynor explained, allows Fullbright to both bring Gone Home to consoles while focusing on its next project. What’s Gaynor’s team up to?
