Mugen Souls Z is coming to North America and Europe on May 23, NIS America has announced. It will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3.
Z is a sequel to the original Mugen Souls, which our IGN review deemed awful. The follow-up stars Syrma, who meets the self-proclaimed "Undisputed God of the Universe" Chou-Chou just after the first game concludes.
One of the few high points of the original noted in our review was the gobs of content, and that aspect seems to be making a comeback considering the level cap is set at 9,999. NIS has noted that like the first game, certain aspects have been edited due to the "sensitive nature of some content."
