O.K., you can settle down now. It looks like that talk that had Fox’s Fantastic Four reboot casting a female Doctor Doom was either just a rumor or the idea has been dropped by the studio, because four (male) actors are reportedly now up for the part.
The Wrap reports that Fox and director Josh Trank have narrowed down the list of who they want to play the classic villain of Latveria to Sam Riley (Control, Maleficent), Eddie Redmayne (Les Misérables, Jupiter Ascending), Toby Kebbell (Wrath of the Titans, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), and Domhnall Gleeson (About Time, and Bill Weasley from Harry Potter!).
