Oculus has announced that it has hired Atman Binstock as its new Chief Architect. He will be based in Seattle, leading the new Oculus research and development team.
Binstock was most recently one of the lead engineers on Valve's VR project. He has also led projects at major companies such as RAD, DICE, and Intel.
While Valve has previously created prototype VR headsets, the company recently announced that rather than pursuing development of its own headset, it will instead work on supporting the Oculus Rift.
