With Kelly Sue DeConnick's takeover of Avengers Assemble, we were excited for this series to be taken in bold new directions. Luckily, it looks like she's doing just that in February as Black Widow is joined by Spider-Woman and Hawkeye on a mission to Siberia that connects back with an old Soviet assassination that Widow might be tied to.
The two-issue story, dubbed The Widow's Ledger, kicks off in Avengers Assemble #12, where DeConnick will be joined by artist Pete Woods.
