We all know Steve Rogers never got that dance with Peggy Carter, but it looks like he's going to get another shot at romance with today's news that Marvel is testing five different actresses for the Captain America sequel, The Winter Soldier.
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo have one of those good old-fashioned short lists for what Deadline is calling "a significant new role." The site isn't clear on who the character these ladies are testing for is, but the five in the running are Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, Downton Abbey's Jessica Brown Findlay, I Am Number Four's Teresa Palmer, Fright Night's Imogen Poots and Community's Alison Brie. Brie, it should be noted, also works with the Brothers Russo on Community.
