As Carrie pours her heart out to Saul with the above words, the tragedy of the character and everything she went through last season comes back to us. She was so sure, but the thing is, she was also so right. Yet only Brody knows that, and he's not talking.

And still, despite the humiliation that Carrie wad made to endure because of Brody -- she's basically been branded a wacko by her former CIA colleagues -- she still comes back to the cause. And while Estes and even Saul are dubious of her -- the former in his typically dickish way, the latter with this-is-why-we-love-Mandy-Patinkin understated compassion -- she still manages to get the high-priority target Abu Nazir in their sights. (By the way, remember last year when in a moment of desperation Carrie tried to seduce Saul? Icky as that was then, doesn't it seem a thousand times more so now?)
