Known for her memorable roles in bigger than life science fiction series like Stargate SG-1, V and, of course, Firefly, Morena Baccarin is currently receiving acclaim for her role in a more grounded but no less compelling role, in Showtime’s Homeland as Jessica Brody.
Season 2 has found Jessica’s husband, Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis), swept up in a political campaign – with Jessica unaware of the fact that during his time as a POW, he did indeed change his allegiances and very nearly commit a major act of terror in the first season.
I spoke to Baccarin about Jessica’s point of view on her husband, the new discoveries she made about him in last week’s season premiere and the incredible amount of love – including multiple Emmy wins – Homeland has received since it debuted a year ago.
