Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...
The Paddy's Pub players headed out into the middle of forest-y nowhere on this week's Halloween-themed episode, where Dennis did his absolute best to make sure that a disgusting, backwoods wedding between Maureen (Catherine Reitman) and incest-ridden Liam (Jimmi Simpson) went off without a hitch. But this is Always Sunny, so it was probably inevitable that the entire thing would turn into a bloodbath that sent everyone running for their lives.
While this episode had its trademark disturbing moments, it was a little light on the laughs. Yes, I'll always enjoy watching the gang run in terror, afraid for their very lives, but a lot of this one just fell flat. It wasn't until we started to unravel, at the end, what really happened at the wedding, involving a punchbowl of milk spiked with bath salts, that things picked up. The best part of which was Dee coming forward and revealing that Charlie and Mac had actually driven her car into a tree, proving once again that a lot of this show's humor comes from the discovery that one or more of the gang has just been flat out lying the entire time.
