Nintendo has announced that the biggest hits on 3DS are headed to the eShop. Beginning on October 18th, players will be able to download Super Mario 3D Land, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Mario Kart 7 and Star Fox 64 3D for $39.99. Nintendo will also be bringing additional 3DS games to the eShop in the future that were previously only available at retail stores.
Nintendo previously released New Super Mario Bros. 2 simultaneously in retail stores and the eShop and offered a Club Nintendo bonus to players who downloaded it. From this point forward, all first-party games will be available simultaneously at retail and the eShop, a strategy that Nintendo is also following for Wii U.
