The Xbox 360-exclusive Medal of Honor Warfighter beta starts this Friday, October 5th. According to the game’s official site, the multiplayer beta includes access to all 12 of the game’s units and six classes, with all weapons unlocked for the Assaulter class. The beta includes the Serajevo map, set in a stadium that has been torn apart by the country’s civil war.
Players will participate in Fireteams, units of two that serve as “a team within a team,” using each other as spawn points and able to see one another anywhere on the map. Hotspot mode will be included, a “radical take on the classic bomb defuse gameplay” with five sets of explosives spread around the level. Players will need to plant or defend three caches of explosives to achieve victory. The beta will also include Battlelog functionality, letting players track their stats. The beta will be available in English, German and French, and progress in the beta won’t carry over to the final game.
