Munsters Remake Pilot to Air as Halloween Special IGN All

In a move that both solidifies that the network doesn’t have faith enough to order the project to series, and yet leaves the door open just a tiny crack for a potential future, NBC will be airing the pilot to Mockingbird Lane this month, as a standalone Halloween special.


The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, noting that Mockingbird Lane was an especially pricy pilot, costing $10 million to produce. Assuming it doesn’t move forward at all, NBC likely sees the Halloween airing as the chance to recoup at least some of the money they put in, via advertising.
