Arune Singh introduced the panelists: Steve Wacker, Ellie Pyle, Dan Slott, Ryan Stegman, Mark Waid, Joe Keatinge, Kevin Shinick, Declan Shalvey, and Cullen Bunn. The cover for Amazing Spider-Man #698 was shown, which depicts a dying Doc Ock saying Peter’s name. Slott teased, “He knows Peter’s true secret.”
“I’ve been doing this comic for five years and done over 150 issues of the comic and for the first time ever, my heart skipped a beat looking at that last page,” said Wacker of Amazing’s concluding issue #700. Wacker also revealed that there will be a special letters column for issue #700 featuring letters answered by Stan Lee, just like the old days!
