Bob Wayne introduced the Superman panel – the first panel from the Big 2 for New York Comic-Con – which included Matt Idelson, Eddie Berganza, Cully Hamner, Sholly Fisch, Grant Morrison, Mike Johnson, Mahmud Asrar, Tony Daniel, and Andy Diggle.
The conversation began with Action Comics, with Morrison talking about the return of the Superman/Doomsday combo character that we met in issue #9, saying that issue #15 would be featuring a throwdown between that character and Supes himself. Fisch mentioned that the Action Comics Annual he’s writing features New 52 Superman’s very first exposure to Kryptonite, as well as the reveal of Steel’s new direction, which has been setup in Fisch’s back-ups throughout Action.
