The were various persons of interest at the, uh, Person of Interest panel at New York Comic-Con today. Stars Amy Acker, Jim Caviezel, Kevin Chapman, Michael Emerson and Taraji P. Henson showed up for the panel along with producer Margot Lulick, director Richard Lewis and, of course, co-creator Jonathan Nolan, who you may know from a little franchise called The Dark Knight.
An exclusive sizzle reel was shown at the top of the panel, which featured a lot of guns getting fired! But after that -- and most importantly! -- the dog Boker from the show made an appearance as well. And the question came up: What is the dog's function? Nolan admitted that basically there are a lot of dog lovers on the writing staff and they wanted to put one on the show. As Emerson (of Lost fame) said, you'll never win the scene when acting with a dog (or a baby). But that said, he's grown quite fond of his "companion."
