Everyone knows that pulp hero The Shadow is really Lamont Cranston, wealthy man about town. But it turns out that there's a lot more to the character than snappy fashion sense and the ability to always know what evil lurks in the hearts of men. That's the impetus behind a new Shadow spinoff at Dynamite Entertainment called The Shadow: Year One.
Much like Green Hornet: Year One, this new series aims to explore the early days of the Shadow's career and how he developed his tools and his crime-fighting network. Appropriately, Dynamite has even tapped the same writer who worked on Green Hornet: Year One - Matt Wagner.
