Obsidian’s Project Eternity has become the most successful video game Kickstarter of all time. The game’s campaign ended yesterday with $3,986,929 in all, beating out the $3.3 million earned by Double Fine Adventure and $2.7 million for Wasteland 2.
Project Eternity is described by Obsidian as “an isometric, party-based computer RPG set in a new fantasy world.” The game hit its original goal of $1,100,000 in under three days and offered fans game enhancements including a personal stronghold, a second city and more.
