NBC has given full season pickups to Revolution, Go On and The New Normal, making the trio of series the first new fall shows to get the back-nine order - bringing them from the initial 13 episodes to a full 22-episode season.
The news is certainly not surprising for Revolution, which has won its timeslot (against Castle and Hawaii Five-0) since it began and contributed to a night of programing, along with The Voice, that is a true success story for a network that has had some infamous struggles in recent years. Go On has also been doing quite well for NBC, getting far better numbers than any of their pre-existing comedies. While The New Normal hasn’t maintained Go On’s lead-in, the network clearly thinks there’s enough of an audience there to cultivate.
