Silent Hill: Revelation 3D Review IGN All

French director Christophe Gans made something of a cinematic splash with his visually arresting 2006 adaptation of the hit video game Silent Hill.


Revolving around a mother’s search for her missing daughter in the mysterious town of the title, the film failed to hit the horror highs of its source material, but nevertheless looked amazing and succeeded in generating more than its fair share of frights.



Six years on, British helmer Michael J. Bassett – director of Death Watch, Wilderness and Solomon Kane – has taken charge of the franchise, writing and directing a loose adaptation of the third game in the series with Silent Hill: Revelation 3D.
