Turtle Power was in full-effect as New York Comic Con was visited by the executive producers and voice cast of the new Nickelodeon animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, as well as the turtles themselves -- or at least their official costumed versions -- who kicked off the panel and entertained the capacity crowd.
The panel included executive producers Ciro Nieli (Teen Titans) and Peter Hastings (Anamaniacs), as well as cast members Sean Astin ("Raphael"), Rob Paulsen ("Donatello"), Greg Cipes ("Michaelangelo") and Hoon Lee ("Splinter").
After attending enough panels at enough comic conventions, it doesn't take a genius to differentiate between a good crowd and a great one, and this crowd was certainly fired up- probably because there were tons of fans in the audience with a decades-long affection for these characters, but also because this latest iteration is just really good.
