If you were one of those Walking Dead viewers who felt Season 2 was too slow-paced, I’m guessing you were very happy with the Season 3 premiere, “Seed.” Walking Dead began this season on a very strong note, delivering a fast-paced, exciting episode that packed a ton into an hour - or 44 minutes or so, if you want to get commercial-free technical.
Jumping ahead a few months was a good idea, as it allowed for several characters to have upped their skill set – even while it was a bit amusing to see that characters like Carl and Carol were now much more accomplished zombie-killers. Plus, when you have a kid on your show like Chandler Riggs, you need to begin accounting for the fact that he’s going to be looking physically older.
