Tucked away on the North American PlayStation Store this week was an app that many might have missed amongst the mass of game and update releases, but if you are artistically minded, we're hoping you do track it down. The painting program Colors! released for PlayStation Vita this week after garnering acclaim on Nintendo 3DS and iPhone.
IGN rated Colors! 3D on Nintendo 3DS an Editors' Choice 9.0 back in April of this year, and the PlayStation Vita release closely mirrors the 3DS version (minus the 3D layer viewing, and the local collaborative painting feature is unfortunately not in this Vita version.) That means the same easy-to-use drawing tools, the same online sharing functionality on the Colors Live website, and the same amazing recording feature to show you and your friends exactly how your latest masterpiece was created -- brushstroke by brushstroke -- are featured in this version of the application.
