Answering a question regarding multiplayer in BioShock Infinite via Twitter, creative director Ken Levine has confirmed the game will not feature multiplayer.
This follows reports from early August claiming two multiplayer modes originally planned for BioShock Infinite had been cancelled.
No multiplayer was ever announced or confirmed for BioShock Infinite. The universally acclaimed original BioShock, still the second highest-rated Xbox 360 game on Metacritic, also featured no multiplayer.
