There was a new image posted today at the Facebook page for Rise of the Planet of the Apes, an image that was not used as far as we can tell to promote the 2011 film. Could this be a viral image to promote the forthcoming sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which begins filming this spring in Louisiana?
It would appear so, but we're waiting to hear back from 20th Century Fox if that is indeed the case. But, really, why else would Fox post such an image today for a movie that's already been out on video for awhile?
