Little Chomp Review IGN All

Little Chomp is the latest excellent reminder that games can’t be judged by their appearance alone. This level-based action platformer from ClutchPlay Games is easy to ignore thanks to its overly cheerful (and somewhat bland) presentation. But once I got past the forgettable visuals, what I found was a lengthy, finely-tuned adventure with solid challenge and plenty of extras.


Gamers play as Little Chomp, a caterpillar on a mission to climb through the game’s 50+ forest stages, eating all the fruit he can find. Gamers send Chomp upward through the stages by grabbing him with a finger, pulling down to stretch, and releasing to fling him upward. It’s a mechanic that’s been done before, in titles like Freeverse’s Parachute Ninja.
