On June 18th, Microsoft announced their new tablet-laptop hybrid, the Surface. The Surface came in two flavors - the RT and the Pro versions. The RT version was given a price and release date several months later, but the Surface with Windows 8 Pro (Also known as the Surface Pro) was still only listed as "coming soon."
We weren't huge fans of the Surface RT, but we've still fostered a bit of hope in the Surface Pro. The main difference between the two? While the RT comes with a crippled version of Windows 8 (which is unable to download apps outside of the app store), the Surface Pro is a full PC - which is, according to Microsoft - able to run games like Civilization V in all their glory.
