Sons of Anarchy: "Crucifixed" Review IGN All

Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.


Sons of Anarchy made good use of their extended time in this week’s episode, “Crucifixed.” The plot was increasingly complicated, as Sons of Anarchy seasons tend to be, but with more time the scenes had room to breathe. If this had been a regular hour-long episode and they had tried to fit this much plot into it, I’m sure things would have felt cramped and rushed. I also appreciated that with the longer running time, there was room for things like the nice little scene between Chibs and Gemma at the garage. It didn’t necessarily move the plot forward, but it gave a glimpse into what makes these people tick.


I guess we will never know what Jax originally intended to do when he followed Juice home last week since Roosevelt was worried enough that he sent a squad car to Juice’s house. After being advised by Roosevelt to get out of town, Juice decided to come clean with Jax instead. Theo Rossi was great in the scene, as was Charlie Hunnam, as a broken Juice had to face the anger of his President. Similar to how he seized the opportunity to make use of Gemma’s bad decisions, Jax gave Juice the option to help bring down Clay, or face the club for the murder of Miles.
