Yes, today's news that McKellen will reprise his role as Magneto in X-Men: Days of Future Past means that he'll have two major movies opening the same day.
As Entertainment Weekly points out, both X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Hobbit: There and Back Again, the final installment in the Lord of the Rings prequel trilogy, are slated to open July 18, 2014.
