Age of Ultron is a story that has been in the planning stages for years. Brian Michael Bendis laid seeds for the conflict as far back as his first arc on Mighty Avengers. Avengers #12.1 and Bendis' Moon Knight series set the stage for Ultron's return, with last year's Point One special offering a glimpse of what is to come in the Age of Ultron.
At long last, Marvel is ready to unleash the book upon the masses. The publisher followed up last week's teaser image with a full-blown announcement: Age of Ultron will debut in March 2013. Today's Next Big Thing press call dealt with that announcement, as Bendis and Senior Editor Tom Brevoort discussed what to expect.
