TNT has canceled the Timothy Hutton led drama Leverage after five seasons, THR reports.
Executive producer/co-creator Dean Devlin posted a goodbye/thank you letter on a fan site which opened with: "The Long Goodbye is our final goodbye."
“The Long Goodbye,” the final episode of the season, is set to air on Christmas day and will also serve as the series finale. Both Devlin and the network reached out to fans to assure them that this is a “bittersweet” but amicable end to the series. TNT indicated that they are open to working with the executive producer on future projects.
