The fight scene. It's as American as apple pie and… lightsabers!
Uh, anyway. There's no denying that a key component of many great genre movies is an awesome fight scene. Be it a bare-fisted brawl, a duel with swords (laser or otherwise), or a more elaborate wuxia ballet, it's often the fight that can make the movie -- and the action hero.
So we figured it was time to put together a list of our picks for the best movie fight scenes of all time. Of course, no such list will ever make everyone happy. Some fans would say that most martial arts flicks would beat out a lot of the movies here that veer into sci-fi or other genres, but the goal of our picks was to maintain a taste of both Asian import classics while also staying true to the mainstream, Hollywood fare that we've all grown up on.
