Rovio has announced that Angry Birds games were downloaded 30 million times over the holidays. According to a blog post on Rovio’s official site, Rovio saw 30 million downloads between December 22nd and December 29th, with 8 million sold on Christmas Day alone.
“It’s been an amazing year and we can’t thank our fans enough for their fantastic support,” Rovio said in the post. “Stay tuned in 2013 for even more incredible surprises!”
Rovio released the following infographic showing off the impressive Christmas week stats, including 17.4 million new devices using Angry Birds on Christmas Day.
