Last summer's The Amazing Spider-Man was commercially successful, but met with a mixed response from critics and, to some degree, fans, many of whom couldn't get past the fact that the reboot retread so much territory covered by Sam Raimi's earlier trilogy.
Well, one of the stars of those previous Spidey films, James Franco, shares those less than enthusiastic feelings. Here's what he had to say to MTV about the reboot and the re-casting of his character, Harry Osborn, for its upcoming sequel:
