Daniel Radcliffe is now in final negotiations to star as Igor in 20th Century Fox's remake of Frankenstein.
According to Variety, the production is expected to begin production later this fall after Radcliffe's run in the West End play Cripple of Irishman.
Phosphor Games Studio is building an action game using Unreal Engine 4 with a heavy focus on character customization called Project Awakened. To highlight some of the different ways you'll be able to tweak your character design with abilities and armor pieces, the developer has released a tech demo that features Unreal Engine 4 footage. "The idea of Project Awakened is so different from what is out there, publishers don't know how they can fund it. We've pitched this idea to every major publisher, and while they all like the concept, they are also afraid of uncharted waters. Their data shows that studios can only sell a familiar gameplay experience or a sequel, not an innovative new IP."
It sounds like John C. Reilly is joining the News Team for Anchorman 2. Prep and early photography has already begun in Atlanta, Georgia, where a local casting agency posted this casting call:
"Do you look like John C. Reilly? We're seeking a caucasian male, 6'2", any age. THIS SHOOTS TOMORROW, FEB 28th. Please submit your stats and 3 photos to TeachMan2ATL@gmail.com with the subject line JOHNNY DOUBLE."
That was put up yesterday, which means Reilly's part is shooting today. According to Bleeding Cool, the actor's role is probably a small one, likely just a cameo.

Red Thread Games has released a trailer for its upcoming Dreamfall Chapters that shows off how the game will look and explains the basics of The Longest Journey / Dreamfall’s fiction.
It’s been a long wait for a sequel after Dreamfall’s cliffhanger ending back in 2006. Series creator Ragnar Tørnquist and Red Thread Games have successfully Kickstarted their follow up. The fundraising campaign will last for another nine days as of this article’s publish.
Dreamfall Chapters will feature three playable characters and blend point-and-click and direct-control mechanics to tell a story that weaves through the worlds of Stark and Arcadia. Dreamfall Chapters is currently scheduled to launch in November 2014 for PC, Mac and Linux.
The Ubisoft studio behind Driver: San Francisco, Reflections has been hiring aggressively, and its latest get is Pauline Jacquey. The ex-producer of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and the mobile versions of Assassin’s Creed and Prince of Persia will take on the role of managing director, as well as many of the decision-making and public relations duties.
Ubisoft Reflections is also hot off of helping out other Ubisoft studios on the likes of Just Dance 4 and Far Cry 3. Jaquey joins Reflections is amid its collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal on Watch Dogs, and will lead the studio on "a number of soon to be announced projects."

When the PlayStation 4 was revealed in New York City, one of the interesting features Sony showed off was PS4’s integrated Ustream capability. Ustream, according to the company’s founder and CEO Brad Hunstable, is “the largest live social broadcasting platform in the world,” and as such, the implications of Ustream on PS4 are considerable.
In short, what you do on PlayStation 4 can be seamlessly broadcast to the rest of the world.
In a conversation with IGN, Hunstable touted the strength of his platform (the company had a staggering 8 million viewers tune in simply to see an asteroid fly-by). Even the PlayStation 4 reveal was live on Ustream: over one million people at one time were watching it. “It had an average view time of one our,” Hunstable said, “for essentially a two-hour-long Sony PlayStation commercial.”

Real Racing 3 – (Freemium)
Leading the huge pack of new arrivals into the App Store today is EA’s Real Racing 3, the latest sequel in the on-going “hyper-realistic” driving series. This one adopts a new freemium pricing model, and it works wonderfully – but you don’t have to take my word for it. Justin’s already written a full review of the game that you can read right here.
