Last summer, ASUS revealed the Transformer AiO, which pairs a massive tablet with a desktop unit capable of dual-booting to Windows 8 or Android. As reported by Engadget, ASUS has finally revealed more finalized specs, and North American release window in the second quarter of 2013. Starting at $1,299, the machine offers two configurations: desktop mode or a pull-away tablet.
When paired with the desktop station, the Transformer AiO features Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processor configurations, with memory options ranging from 4 to 8GB. Graphics are handled by a 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT730M GPU, and storage is available up to 2TB SATA. As already announced, the Transformer AiO will run on Windows 8 in desktop mode, while taking advantage of the 10-point multitouch display. A selection of ports includes USB 3.0, as well as HDMI out.
