Actress Judy Greer (The Descendents, Arrested Development) has joined the cast of Matt Reeves' upcoming sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes -- as a chimp.
Vulture reports that Greer will be wearing a performance-capture suit to play Cornelia, the simian love interest to Andy Serkis' protagonist Caesar. The character was briefly introduced in the last film (where she was played by dancer Devyn Dalton), but that role will now be expanded for Dawn.
