It's probably a complete coincidence that the fantastically female-centric "Reunion" aired on International Women's Day, but it's definitely not a coincidence that the best episode of Season 3 to date centered around Nikita's tortured but inescapable bond with her former mentor Amanda and also gave much-needed attention to Nikita and Alex's relationship, which was once the beating heart of the series.
"Reunion" also staged a mini Lost get together, as Ari's son Stefan was portrayed by Dylan Minnette, Jack's sideways-son, and his guardian Krieg was played by Dharma's one-eyed terminator, Mikhail (Andrew Divoff). A combination of great acting and writing made their story compelling enough to almost feel like a backdoor pilot for a show about a plucky teen and his (mostly) humorless bodyguard who form an unconventional family while they trot around the globe to elude Ari's enemies.
