Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers may dazzle people with its remarkably lengthy compound title, but it probably won't impress them with its technical panache. Its chunky interface design and stiff first-person 3D movement look like a significant step backward from Atlus' most recent game in the same vein: the lush, vibrant Etrian Odyssey IV. Soul Hackers feels somewhat dated in comparison -- because it is. In fact, it's 16 years old.
