J.J. Abrams’ production company Bad Robot is in final negotiations to option the rights to adapt Stephen King's novel 11/22/63 as a television series, Deadline reports. The 2011 bestseller follows Jake, a divorced English teacher who finds a portal that takes him back in time to 9/91958, once there he makes it his mission to prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy, which occurred on November 22, 1963.
