It is known... That Game of Thrones will be returning for Season 4!
Okay, this isn't a shocker, but it's still good to get the official confirmation that the show will be back, especially considering the current Season 3 is only covering the first half of the third book. The renewal comes two days after the show returned to its best ratings yet.
HBO's press release didn't say how many episodes Season 4 would be, but the producers have previously indicated they'd likely stick to ten episodes a season, given what a huge production the series already is.
