The second issue of IDW's new Dredd series is an improvement on the first. It flows better, looks better, and gives us a better sense of the world. Judge Dredd: Year One #2 is a good comic, but it's still missing that “year one” feeling. We know Dredd is new and inexperienced because other characters say stuff like “I know you are new” and “you are inexperienced.” That's not exactly the best way to convey that a character is a little green. Still, there's lots to enjoy here. If you are Dredd fan, you can't be bummed about more good comics on the stands.
