Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.
You shouldn’t trust anybody in Storybrooke. People use each other like puppets, and everything is a trick. Tamara and Greg are using Hook, the pirate is betraying Regina while Regina thinks she’s using him, Tamara is fooling everyone – you get the idea. You’ve got to watch your back.
Emma seems to have caught on that Tamara is the mysterious “she” August warned them about because she thinks she catches Tamara in a lie. Kudos to Mary Margaret for pointing out to Emma that her superpower of detecting when people are lying isn’t so powerful. It’s often wrong. Of course, Mary Margaret followed it up with the basic, “Oh, your feelings for Neal must be screwing it up.” Not cool. In this case though, Emma is right. Tamara is bad news.
