Namco Bandai has announced that Project X Zone is headed to 3DS on June 25th in North America. The news comes via its official site and has since been confirmed to IGN by Namco representatives, though a specific European date hasn't been revealed just yet.
Project X Zone was released in Japan last October and features Namco Bandai, SEGA and Capcom characters teaming up for a strategy RPG. According to Namco’s site, the game revolves around a stolen ancient treasure known as the Portalstone, which has been stolen and caused a time-space rift that allows for the crossovers. “The ambitions of various people, organizations and creatures have become intertwined, turning this incident into a great source of turmoil,” Namco describes. “The past, future, and even distant worlds from other dimensions have been drawn into what will be become a long journey for our heroes.”
