The Wii U system update we've all been waiting for has finally arrived. This update brings a host of enhancements and new services, including the launch of the Wii U Virtual Console.
Here are the improvements Wii U owners can expect to see after updating their system:
♦ Loading times have been reduced, specifically when starting the system, launching applications, exiting software, returning to the Home menu, and switching between software and other applications (including Miiverse).
♦ When you first turn on the system, you can now skip the initial loading screen and go directly to the Home menu by holding down the B button on the GamePad.
♦ You can now install games and applications from the eShop in the background while other software is being used.
