You can’t accuse Arrow of playing it safe in the Season 1 finale. On the heels of so much changing for Oliver Queen and the world around him, I spoke to the show’s star, Stephen Amell, about what’s to come in Season 2 this fall.
IGN TV: The finale went so big. Were you shocked to find out that they were actually gonna have Malcolm succeed in that way?
Stephen Amell: Yeah, I mean, I knew elements of the finale by the early part of this year. I like it because, again, there’s nothing that we promise or tease in the show that we don’t deliver on. There was a device, there was a bomb -- whatever you wanna call it -- and whenever the bomb doesn’t go off, it’s kinda disappointing, so I’m glad that they went there, as hard as it was.
