LA Noire's lead designer has formed a Sidney-based development house called Intuitive Games Studio. MCV Pacific reports that Alex Carlyle, who was a lead at Team Bondi during the production of LA Noire, will head the new independent studio.
In talking to MCV about creating and maintaining a team in Australia, Carlyle said, "I want to stay here and make games and hopefully be able to sustain a small studio, provide employment and jobs here.”
This news comes on the heels of word that the team responsible for LA Noire's latest project, Whore of the Orient, had been effectively dismantled last month.
